I’m sorry to hear you might be having ice storms tomorrow. If it’s any consolation, I’ve stopped wearing sandals, and sometimes have to put on a long sleeved shirt in the evenings.

This is the sort of thing I will, in some sense of the term, miss:

    Funny. You know deep down that you really miss all this excitement. You know, the lines at the grocery stores where people are trying to stock up, no salt or ice melt to be had, tanking up their cars…

    On the other hand, Josh . . . while this messes up our exam week, it at least gives me an extra day to deal with papers I’ve been behind in grading.
