I really think they're attacking me because I'm white.More precisely, they're attacking her because she told a Los Angeles paper:
If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color), he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.Yes, the marvelous life of black men in modern America. Truly, how could anyone think that dark skin in America could be a disadvantage.
One presumes that the Clinton campaign will shortly combine the prefixes "de-" and "re-" with bases "-ject" and "-nounce," as they demanded Obama do with the unsolicited support of a divisive public figure.

I've wondered since this came up if Hilary Clinton would be as far along in the primary process if she weren't the wife of a past president. Really, what qualifications does she have that make her unique other than the novelty of one relationship. (The same is probably true fro Dubya. Everyone knew he was an incompetent businessman, but he had the novelty of being the son of a president, and I think he road that a long way.)
