Thoughts from Kansas

You will notice that it lacks definiteness; that it lacks purpose; that it lacks coherence; that it lacks a subject to talk about; that it is loose and wabbly; that it wanders around; that it loses itself early and does not find itself any more. --Mark Twain

One day of reason in Oregon

Category: Policy and Politics
Posted on: June 25, 2008 7:21 PM, by Josh Rosenau

Jim Lippard reports that the Oregon Governor declared June 21 a "Day of Reason." Am I the only one wondering what that says about the other 364?

Maybe this will become a holiday like Christmas only instead of being nice one day out of the year, people are supposed to give reason day cards and actually think about how to deal with the big problems that require our attention. Just think! no discovery institute, Michael Behe comes to his senses for one day, George Bush has a coherent thought. Hey, one day out of 365.25 days is better than none out 365.25 days.
