Everybody needs to read the eight posts on Historiann's list of Lessons for Girls. I really mean that. Go NOW and read. If you don't have time for all eight, please at least read about anger.
If I wish I had learned one lesson earlier in life, it's this: it's okay to be angry, it's okay to make other people angry, and anger can work for you. (Well, that might be three lessons, but I find it hard to disentangle them, so bear with me.)

Damn, Zuska, that's depressing.
Not that there's anything wrong with any of them; they're all totally spot-on. It's depressing that they're still needed.
I think I'll go and meditate on how fortunate I am in the women I'm close to.

4. Independence, by Sutton. (You wouldn't know how to handle an independent woman.)
5. Trust Your Instincts, by Undine. (my instincts are telling me you are a jerk ... and your behavior is adding data to the equation)
6. No Apologies, by Exile in Academia. (like if ever!)
7. It’s okay if not everyone likes you, by Geeky Mom. (I don't like you. You are on a level with the blog-spammers who pop up with depressing regularity, spewing nonsense.)
Although, if you were to actually show up in Phoenix, and if you are as obnoxious in person as you are on blogs, I'd have to make the effort to adjust the attitude of your dangly bits - they are dangling so low that the would need a percussive adjustment by means of my patella.
