Scientists defend safety of genetically modified foods - latimes.com

More like this

They defend what gets them big money from big ag like Monsanto and Cargill. Worse than creationist lying scientists and climate denying ones perverting science for immediate profit than real longterm detriments. Scientists in love with their ability to control nature are worse than religious freaks in denial. Humans are not the eons and decades nature goes through testing and FAILING experiments. Things put on the market before thorough indepth tests are worse than a mutation that suddenly kills. Instead it's allowed for years doing damage and when things breakdown like the immunity of insects that pollinate our food just for high yields for profit to feed insatiable human procreation over population is MADNESS, not intelligent beings.

This sudden influx of conservative capitalist scientist blogs acting likec they are harbingers of truthful research is making me sick. Are the Koch brothers paying the bloggers here now? Anti-vacciner types are going to extremes but pushing for manipulation of biology because 'we can' without looking for if nature has already done so and failed or not ignoring the cross dangers to other systems by intentionally denying the real nature of environmental systems just to sell chemicals and goods through trademarks for profit is unethical and immoral apart from unscientific and derelict of duty as a scientist with an unstated hippocratic oath to do no harm.

Are these the same scientists who are defrauding everyone with their precious belief in evolution and global warming? If so, I laugh at their existance.

GMOs cause cancer. Period. Don't believe me? Ok. When you get cancer, get back to me so that I can say I told you so.

The above comments are perfect examples of the ignorance of the general public when it comes to GM crops. Bloggers who write in defense of GM crops, myself included, do not need to be paid by these companies to write flowery articles about them. The educated reporter, and the educated member of the public will do their own research, find out what is really happening, and make their own decision about what the truth is, NOT perpetuate antiquated urban myths. It is because I value the environment that I value GM crops.
