WASHINGTON, DC - African-Americans to be featured throughout theInaugural USA Science and Engineering Festival (USASEF), October 10 - 24, 2010, AND featured in performances and exhibits at the free-of-charge USASEF Expo to be held on the National Mall October 23-24. USASEF promises to be the ultimate multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-disciplinary celebration of science in the United States.

The USASEF mission is to re-invigorate the interest of our nation's youth in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by producing the most compelling, exciting, educational, and entertaining science gatherings in the United States. The USASEF 2 day Expo supports President Barack Obama's "Educate to Innovate" campaign to improve the participation and performance of America's students in STEM.

About the USASEF Expo on the National Mall October 23-24, 2010
The 2 day USASEF Expo will showcase 1500 fun, hands-on science & engineering activities and over 75 stage shows featuring science celebrities, actors, magicians, comedians, rap artists, cheerleaders, and other performing artists on the National Mall October 23-24, 10:00 am - 5:30 pm. The USASEF Expo offers 2 days of fun-filled and exciting science and technology activities for student age groups 3 - 6 years old, 7-10 yrs, 11-14 yrs, and 15- adult.
