The Festival is Fast Approaching!

The doors are open on Saturday from 10am-6pm and on Sunday from 10am- 4pm. This year the Festival will be held in Washington D.C. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

It is a shame that the Expo is the same weekend as the National Science Bowl, a national competition for high school science students sponsored by the US Dept of Energy. I'm sure DOE would have considered being a sponsor of this event. As a long-time volunteer at the science bowl, I would have liked to volunteer for the expo but I thought it would be held in the Fall. Next time one of these is planned, please consider consulting with major science and engineering organizations to see whether there is a competing event.
