Well, I suppose it's a better source of nutrition than bamboo. ;-)
Should we encourage the rise of correspondent munching pandas? There's a whole Fox's den of them (correspondents, that is) nobody would miss.
Expanding this new panda diet to include cretinists might also be worth encouraging. No, er, wait, The Panda's Thumb chews them up rather regularly, so I guess they are already part of the diet.
