By this time last year, things were already in motion with the First Annual Blogger Bioblitz, which turned out to be incredibly fun and interactive (check out some of the 430 photos taken for the event last year). This year I'm going to push it back until June, which will make it easier for our friends to the north to actually find some life to document.
The summer solstice, Friday, June 20, is the most attractive date to me right now, and since we don't have a week coinciding with the Blitz, I'll most likely make it a weekend event.
I will have the forumsback up in the next month and we'll begin discussing the details for those interested. Please spread the word about the delay if you would, and I'm looking forward to working with everyone on the project again.

I'll do it. Just have to get out of my sanitized "village" into some real wilderness this year.

I'm glad the BioBlog is a bit later this year! I'll see what I can come up with from the Hannibal area...
