Have a few laughs with me if you would for the love of Earth Day:

From "Desperado" at Chron.commons:

In recognition of Earth Day, there is an excellent article in the BBC News today which reveals the real agenda behind the global warming movement, which is the abolishment of capitalism.

[Earth Day] is all about government controlling more and more of our lives. Capitalism and industrial development are evil and must be stopped.

roflsawz

So what should be the conservative response to Earth Day? How about defending free market principles and property rights. That seems to have worked pretty well for about 230 years now.

Paranoia cha, cha, cha. Paranoia cha, cha, cha.

It's amazing how obtuse so many of these people are. Who do they think is going to make, install and maintain all the solar and wind services? Gremlins from the Kremlin? Have we been plundering Lenin's grave for the secret of sugar-powered Fuel cells?

Nice to see that irrational fear is still the predominant through process of the Republican Party.
