All manner of human creativity on display
David Ng is Director of the Advanced Molecular Biology Laboratory at the University of British Columbia - this is a just a fancier way of calling himself a science teacher.
Benjamin Cohen is an Asst. Professor of Science, Tech., and Society at the University of Virginia. He studies the place of S & T in environmental history, policy, and ethics. He also writes other stuff.
Trying to find your way around this place? Like most expositions, we offer a map: Map of The World's Fair
Need a car? Of course you do. Try this one:

YES! Send me a free issue of Seed.
If I like what I see, I'll receive 5 more issues (6 in all) for just $14.95. That's 50% off the cover price! If I'm not completely satisfied, I'll simply write "cancel" on the invoice and owe nothing. The free issue is mine to keep.

I know, it is a bit mean (not intentionally though). Although I tried to make up for it by posting this right after. You should check that piece out, since it involves a big ethical dilemma that Ben is keen to follow up on.

I'd like it to be clear that Dave alone was mean. Not me. I'm in the readers corner. I'm the reader's advocate. Think of me in a sweater vest. And how elegant is that dual row of clues above? They're just so nearly identical. You won't get Dave to notice that. Only me. I'm there for you.
