Baby Kinkajou

In the wild, Andrew feeds on fish, sponges, small crustaceans, nematode worms and protozoans.

Benny's diet is very specialized, consisting mainly of the interior of Ramy nuts, nectar from the Traveller's Palm tree, some fungi and insect grubs. He is also known to raid coconut plantations, and has been seen eating lychees and mangoes, which are also plantation crops.

Possibly because I just watched 'The Rabbit of Seville' for the first time in twenty years yesterday, the dialobica on top looks like it's about to launch into some incredibly moving Aria.
Or conversely 'Viva Las Vegas,' by The King.

Janey feckin' mac, these pics are incredible! That first I. diabolica in particular is like an alien samurai come to decapitate us. And do you know what? If a murderous alien samurai turned up and it were that beautiful, all I could say would be: g'wan then, chop my head off!

Sweet jumping monkeys! I'm speechless.
I actually modified the other Idolomantis diabolica (the one with the yellow background) into my wallpaper, and it looks absolutely awesome! I think I have just found my new favorite insect.

YAY! More people are learning of the greatness that is The Igor. ;) I'm almost ready to build a temple to this guy.
He's also got a great deviantART gallery. I couldn't find this link yesterday.

This guy's work always blows me away. I've spent a lot of time around creepy-crawlies and taking macro photos. I have no idea how he gets such AMAZING shots.
*immature aside* He's cute too. ;)

Those are very scary looking creatures. I'm thankful that they're very small, otherwise...

The second one is a spiny flower mantis (Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii), I've got 4 of them. Great pics.
