Benny's diet is very specialized, consisting mainly of the interior of Ramy nuts, nectar from the Traveller's Palm tree, some fungi and insect grubs. He is also known to raid coconut plantations, and has been seen eating lychees and mangoes, which are also plantation crops.

Night of the Lepus

Category: rabbit
Posted on: April 1, 2008 12:13 PM, by Benny Bleiman

We received an outpouring of comments on our post about the massive rabbits being raised in Britain. Thanks to our loyal reader HP, however, we were able to find some disturbing footage of gigantic rabbits actually feeding.

Another vid below the fold...

Night of the Lepus is widely considered to the gem in Rory Calhoun's otherwise sordid body of work.

What? No mention of DeForest Kelley in the trailer? How abominable!

"Damn it, Jim, I'm a doctor, not a field biologist!"

"There's a herd of killer rabbits coming this way!" is considered to be one of the great lines of schlock cult fiction.

I thought Rory Calhoun was excellent in Motel Hell.
