I’m trying to keep my ZooBorns plugs to a minimum, but thought readers might enjoy this series on animals eating, shredding, and staring confusedly at Halloween pumpkins on my other website.

    I love that one! I never thought of giving an octopus a pumpkin, though I did hear that a Mr. Potato Head is one of the favorite toys of the octopus at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

    I seem to remember hearing that they’re a seasonal favorite for zoo elephants.
