Benny's diet is very specialized, consisting mainly of the interior of Ramy nuts, nectar from the Traveller's Palm tree, some fungi and insect grubs. He is also known to raid coconut plantations, and has been seen eating lychees and mangoes, which are also plantation crops.

A ridiculously cool dinosaur encounter on a German TV show. Part animatronics, part puppet show, and part Sprockets. Some great Halloween costume ideas.

Oh pity.

When I saw this headline in my feed I assumed it was about Traumador.

At the 3:50 mark: "If I can't see it, it can't see me!!!"

Also, the two dudes in the viking helmets (why?) with the, "if these were actual animals this big fighting on our stage, we'd seriously be s**ting ourselves right now" expressions.

Easily the most awesome thing I have seen on the interwebs this month.

Gosh, and I thought the bat-loose-in-Congress video was cool.

Its the 'Walking with Dinosaurs' live show, which is a spin-off from the original BBC series http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walking_with_Dinosaurs .

We would have loved to go when it was on at the O2 in the UK, but my 5 and 2 year old would probably have had nightmares for weeks afterwards (they love dinosaurs, but....), so they will have to settle for YouTube instead. Cool link.

BTW - which was more scared? The kid or the presenter?

Even though I know I would collapse from exhaustion within 10 minutes of putting it on, and it needs feathers, I WANT THAT RAPTOR COSTUME.

Saw that show when it was here in Perth a few years back. Very good - altho the way the plants on the set would inflate and deflate between scenes led to much sniggering
