   Shadow the Beagle puppy was scared of large birds (chickens) the first time he encountered them but once he realized they would run from him he decided that they are fun to chase.

   I’ve seen the fear thing work the other way, though – Angus the cat wasn’t afraid of chickens, in fact, he used to chase them. At least until one fairly bright rooster suddenly realized “hey, I’m pretty much as big as that thing” and turned around and chased Angus across the yard.

I used to watch their show with my daughter 10 years ago, it was very much in the same vein as The Monkees was in the 60′s, good homesome fun and good music too

   The gray gander I had a year ago would put that ornery little dickens in his place! Can’t have roosters; don’t even have the “special use” permit I’m supposed to have, to keep hens.
