My guess would have to be Villarica
It does look a lot like Villarica. If not, I say Llaima.

I was going to say Shishaldin, but it looks like I’m going against the current on this one.
Llaima .. my very uneducated guess culled from photos from Flickr and careful study of that volcanista dude..
And yes, volcanista is banned this round, that would make me winner if he/she is right again. w00t!
The summit curvature makes it look like Llaima to me, at least from this worn out old armchair.
Wow, this one must have been a “gimme” because Elizabeth got it on the first guess. It is indeed Villarrica, photographed in 2004 (by me) while I was attending the IAVCEI meeting in Pucon, Chile. I think I’ll post another MVP for the weekend now that this one got solved so quickly.
I saw the picture and said: “Villarrica!” because I´m from Chile and that is atypical chilean landscape: thestreet light, the ‘araucaria’ at left, and obvious it was not the Llaima, because it has two summits. Badly it was late to answer.

I was looking for a camera with a rechargeable battery that takes good quality high-resolution pics along with HD video with zoom available during video taking. This camera’s touchscreen interface was great. I really enjoyed the options available along with having the ability to press a button for preview and some settings (not 100% touchscreen), but was disappointed with the quality of the photos and video. The video was nowhere near HD. I played with the settings and used it outside with plenty of light and it was choppy and noisy. I installed the included photo software and that just made it play without breaking up every second, but it was still not HD. I took some photos in low light indoors and played with the ISO settings along with the auto setting and none of them proved to be adequate. You get fuzzy photos without the flash too. In good lighting I found the photos to be too soft around the edges of faces and routinely took blurry pics too. I had to try a couple times just to get a solid photo of my toddler…not enough of a stabilizing feature for me.

Folks, my blog is not about Slumdog Millionaire in particular but the obsession of Danny to show selectively dirty holes of our country. Or else he would not have selected the short film Manjha. I have nothing against exposing poverty or ones own reality since my upbringing has been through the films of Ritwik Ghatak, Satyajit Ray, Lankesh, Mrinal Sen, Shyam Benegal among others. But when a film maker from outside India repeatedly chooses to show our poverty before the world, my Indian sentiments are hurt. Certainly I love India more than Danny Boyle does. I loved Manjha and had, on an earlier occasion, profusely thanked Anil for making such a powerful expose. In fact I never questioned Slumdog before this day. When I saw Danny picking once again the crude reality of our slums, I felt he was not being just. Now if that’s how he wants to go, fine .. its his privileges. But I have mine too. Since we are not playing a ping pong on PFC I would refrain from further replies. After you are entitled to your views too. But in your love for Danny Boyle, I think you all are getting too emotionally crried away and overlook the core issue raised in my blog.

I can relate! After a few 3:50s and even a 3:45 I tricked myself I into thinking I could just wing it (with only a 15 miler as my long run)at London last week and still get in under 4 hours. So wrong. I ran a big slow 4:23. During the last weeks of training and again at mile 18, I was reminded again of how and why I hate marathons for all the reasons you mentioned. Plus London is so crowded now its impossible to pace correctly. This was my 7th. And last. 5 and 10Ks from now on.You did much better than I did. Great write-up, too.
