Wait… I’m confused. The dog betrayed Jeshua Cottontail, yet in the end, the dog is in Heaven and the cat is in Hell. So clearly dogs are better cats. But, dogs betrayed the savior not cats, so cats must be better than dogs….

Curse you, Laden! You have only made this age-old conundrum even murkier.

My 9yo asked me a couple of days ago what bunnies and eggs have to do with Easter. This is a much better explanation than the long, drawn out discussion of where traditions come from that I gave him.

We watched this together so that I could answer any questions he had. It was a great family moment. Thank you for sharing.

That bunny reassembled from it’s former pieces like a jigsaw puzzle was just creepy. So that’s why my dog can’t eat chocolate? who knew.

I know, I loved that part. A true horror bunny. And the analogy remains perfect, because when Jesus returned from the dead he instructed the apostles he met (or one of them) to run his fingers through the fatal wound holes in his body.
