Darwin Day is Coming Up

From the NCSE:

It’s time to dust off your Darwin costume again: less than a month remains before Darwin Day 2011! Colleges and universities, schools, libraries, museums, churches, civic groups, and just plain folks across the country — and the world — are preparing to celebrate Darwin Day, on or around February 12, in honor of the life and work of Charles Darwin. These events provide a marvelous opportunity not only to celebrate Darwin’s birthday but also to engage in public outreach about science, evolution, and the importance of evolution education — which is especially needed with assaults on evolution education currently ongoing in Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. NCSE encourages its members and friends to attend, participate in, and even organize Darwin Day events in their own communities. To find a local event, check the websites of local universities and museums and the registry of Darwin Day events maintained by the Darwin Day Celebration website. (And don’t forget to register your own event with the Darwin Day Celebration website!)

    Censored. So much for secular oppressives’ belief in free speech.

    Censored. I guess Geg got in on that “fairness” doctrine early on. Oh well, I still plan on defiling the name of darwin on darwin day so it doesn’t matter if I get censored or not.

    @stephanie

    I do not get into violent daydreams. I am not a communist revolutionary protestor at the G20 summit or in greece when they decide giving free handouts should stop. But thanks for caring.

    Yes, because Greg editing out your misspelled, irrational rant on his blog thereby prevents you from saying anything else anywhere.

    Understanding free speech. You’re doing it wrong.

    Now, go have Mommy up your dosage before you start harming the pets, sweetheart.

    oops. I forgot. free speech indicates the hatefilled throwing of moltov cocktails at a G20 summit. I guess free speech really is for hatefilled violent communist revolutionaries and secualr oppressives. Sorry. I was confused.

    I left all the pets at work. Oh. Nevermind. I confuse my dogs with the illegal aliens sometimes. Sorry.

    I was ranting about the fascists calling people teabaggers and merely stating that the “teabaggers” has the right to throw wet or frozen tea bags at those nutjob in retaliation for being called a teabagger. From this point on anyone who calls me a teabagger (except online where I can’t reach them) will be smacked across the face with a wet teabag. If they don’t like it, tough. “teabaggers” have the right to defend themsleves against hate speech. Then, of course if you are injured in the process you can always sneak across the border into mexico and smoke dope with the drug lords over there. Some of that medical majawana as they call it.
