Arizona as Swing State

Apparently the McCain campaign sees Arizona as a “swing state” … this despite the fact that Arizona has voted Republican in every election bar one (1996) since 1952. It says something about McCain that he can’t even feel comfortable about carrying the state that he has “represented” (and I use that term loosely) for 26 years.

Well, to be fair to McCain, he’s at least represented AZ as well as Walter Matheau represented MN in Grumpy Old Men.

And as well as Dembski has represented ID.

And as well as Lizzie Borden represented Parental Care Givers.

…who wanted to vote for their candidate of choice back in February but could not since Arizona runs a closed primary. I voted with my wallet in the interim and am looking forward to casting my vote for Obama in November.
