Usher in the New Year with the 127th Meeting of the Skeptics' Circle!

2009 may be over, but there is still one remnant of it that you should immediately check out now, if you haven't already: The 127th Meeting of the Skeptics' Circle at Life, The Universe, and One Brow! While Orac is taking it easy today, you can catch up on some of the best end-of-the-year skeptical blogging while contemplating what sort of unreason will assail us in 2010!

Next up on January 14 will be Ionian Enchantment. Bloggers, start sharpening your skeptical pencils (metaphorically speaking, of course) and checking out the guidelines for what the Circle is looking for. Let's start the new year off right with yet another fine installment of the Skeptics' Circle! Also, we happen to have one of the shortest waits in a long time for hosts of the Circle, as the schedule shows. I'd love to see some more volunteers to host. If you're a blogger and are interested, check out these guidelines for hosts and then drop me an e-mail as listed in my contact information!

Don't forget to get your fortnight's dose of skepticism right here, as The Unincredible Hallq serves up the latest Meeting of the Skeptics' Circle. It's another tasty concoction of skepticism, critical thinking, and science. Next up on July 2 will be a newcomer and first time host, Homologous Legs…
I must admit that I was getting a bit worried. Morning came today, and there was no Skeptics' Circle. I went to work. Every so often throughout the day I checked again. Still no Skeptics' Circle, at least as of early afternoon. I got home from work around 8 PM, and to my relief, there it was in all…
As the guy who sort of fell into being the keeper of the original Skeptics' Circle after its creator decided to give up blogging three years ago, I'd be remiss in my duties if I didn't mention that I've been made aware of an initiative to set up a local version of the Circle based around trying to…
