I know I am a little late with this, but the 26th March edition of the Carnival of Cities is now available for you to enjoy. They link to a piece that I was especially proud of, so be sure to go there and support the carnival!

Okay, this is what you've all been waiting for, the Carnival of Cities, where you can read about people's experiences with either visiting or living in various cities around the world. So without further ado, I will let you tuck in!

I know you all are sitting around this evening bored, with nothing to do, so let me help you a little bit. I am hosting another blog carnival, the Carnival of Cities. This is a fun little blog carnival that is surprisingly popular. It focuses on any aspect of cities; where you currently live, where you once lived, where you visited. For example, have you ever visited or lived somewhere that you've absolutely enjoyed? What made that place so special to you? A special coffee shop, pub or restaurant? The city's proximity to wild places, the beach or…

Now that I have finished putting together the 69th edition of I and the Bird (*whew* that's hard work!), I now am focusing my energies on another blog carnival that I am hosting next week: Carnival of Cities. This is a relatively new (to my readers) blog carnival, but that is alright because the 20 February edition was just published for you to read. The 13 February edition of the Carnival of Cities is now available for you to read and enjoy. This is the blog carnival where you can tell us about the city you live in anywhere in the world. Since they need hosts for some of the upcoming editions, I am going to volunteer to host the 27 February edition. So you know what that means, don't you? That means all of you have to write something about your city, especially if you live overseas (because I want to vicariously travel to your city, where ever it is).

Wow, they like me!
The latest edition, the Five Digital Snapshots edition, of the Carnival of Cities is now available for you to enjoy. There are several essays there that really make me miss .. other cities, other homes, that I've lived in. But they included a piece that I wrote, a piece that I had a lot of fun writing, as a matter of fact!

The new edition of the Carnival of Cities is now available for you to read. This is a really interesting blog carnival where people write stories about the city they live in (where ever in the world that city might be), and it also includes essays about citylife in general. The editor for this issue was kind enough to include one of my essays -- I thought it was stretching the boundaries of what his carnival is about, but he was fine with it -- so be sure to go there and take a look at what he's put together for you to read.
