[Yay, I could! The Samsung for some reason comes with both IE and Opera preinstalled. Though Sb's Moveable Type installation still doesn't work with IE under Windows Mobile 6.0, it does work with Opera.]

Here's what I did to replace Windows 8 (boo) with Linux Mint (yay) on a 2013 Asus ultrabook with the problematic UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) firmware, using an external DVD drive linked to the machine with a USB cable.
Download Linux Mint and burn a bootable DVD.
Disable Windows…

Yeah, he plays the violin and the sax and he sings. I think he's great, but with 200 kids on stage (ages 7-10) the concert was in no way dominated by his own personal greatness.
