My musical taste spans half a century, but like many people I have a particular soft spot for musicians of my own age and the albums they made during our 20s. I really love 90s neo-psych. It was disconcerting when these musicians started putting out divorce albums (of Montreal's brilliant 2007…

What an interesting name for a group! But I think you should be glad the group is still alive and performing. Too many of my old favorites died of drug overdoses, plane crashes, or suicide to count. The few who survive mostly aren't performing. Or their voices have failed them, so they just wheeze onstage and we have to just remember that they once sang like nightingales! So, I'd be pleased just to hear the old groups singing still -- new lyrics would just be gravy.
