Martin Go Helsinki Yes

Next week, 29-31 October, I'll be in Helsinki for the Nordic Bronze Age symposium. The organisers have been kind enough to ask me to chair one of the sessions, but I'd love to meet up with some Aard readers too. Drop me a line!

Dear Reader, if you are in the Netherlands, in England or in Finland and you either a) want to meet me, or b) want to avoid meeting me, I have some important information for you. I am planning to visit those countries over the coming seven weeks. Beware or drop me a line. You have been warned/…
I'll be travelling a lot in October and November and giving some talks. Aard readers in the afflicted cities, drop me a line and maybe we can meet up! 16-18 Oct, TAM London. 29-31 Oct, Oslo, Kritisk Masse: speaking about Thor Heyerdahl and other Scandy pseudoarchaeologists. 4 Nov, Uppsala:…
I'm giving a talk at the Stockholm County Museum in Sickla, Saturday at two o'clock, as part of a day seminar. The subject will be my on-going research into Bronze Age sacrificial sites, where I collaborate with the museum on fieldwork. Aard readers are welcome: just tell the organisers that I'm…
The Secular Student Alliance is having their annual meeting in Columbus, Ohio on 29-31 July. You should go — it's relatively cheap, it has some cool atheist leaders and me giving talks, and it's a fantastic opportunity to network and find out how other student organizations are operating. I'm a…

Methinks poster #2 protests too much.
I'll wager my collection of copied gender theory articles nothing in that chosen name is accurate (least of all female - never heard of a female feminist who felt the need to clarify her gender...)
Let's all be supernice to the little troll so it goes away.

Have a great time in Helsinki. Which session are you in charge of?

Yeah, it's a troll making clumsy fun of feminism. But generally I only delete comments that are spam or attack some person other than me.

I actually have no idea what session I'm heading. I don't think they're thematic, there's just one track and I guess they've just allocated one afternoon or so to me.

I would've loved to meet up for an evening pint or something, but can't be in Helsinki that weekend.
