Why do we seek these places and why do we want to record them? They're admittedly (to me) gorgeous. Most of this stuff has disappeared in N.A.,but it's still more common to find in other parts of the world, incl. Europe, where there are these buildings that resonate. Are we nostalgic? Certainly, to some extent, otherwise we could afford to be harsher in our aesthetic judgment, demanding uniqueness in architecture,eg. Crap, I'm done. Good shot(wide angle?).
