Live Blogging Superbowl pt. 10

Part ten.  I don't think I can keep this up.  Football is
sometimes referred to as "the thinking man's game."  More like the
"sleeping man's game."  Many football players end up with large
necks, because of the kinds of exercises they do.  A neck size
greater than or equal to 46cm (18 inches) leads to an increased risk of
obstructive sleep apnea, a common sleep disorder.

I think the Colts are going to win this one, but I might not be able to
stay awake to see it.

Colts made another false start.  I've lost count of how many times
they've done that.  Probably cost them a touchdown.  Oh, now
there is a challenge.  I hate those.  Just get on with it
already.  It's taking tem forever, and all the players are
standing around it the rain.

Hah.  Colts loose the challenge, and it costs them a time
out.  Could be an issue later in the game.

I haven't been a good blog-citizen lately.  And no, it is not because of fatigue.  Anyway, I've going to try to get back to looking at other people's blogs more, and not just here at ScienceBlogs.  Dr. Serani kindly href="http://drdeborahserani.blogspot.com/2009/08/5-reasons-you-may-be-tired.…
I'm going to be in the Boston area this weekend, visiting Kate's family, so I will end up watching Saturday night's Giants-Patriots game with my Patriot-fan in-laws. In case you didn't know, New England is currently 15-0, and if they win this game they have the chance to be the first team to ever…
Bill Belichick has never been the most popular coach in the NFL, but his Sunday night decision to go for it on 4th and 2 on his own 28 with two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter has even his fans crying foul. I bring up this football decision not because I'm interested in a debate - as a Pats…
As an avowed Giants fan, I suppose I really ought to say something about the epic meltdown they suffered in the past week, ideally before today's game with the Cowboys. The trouble is, last week was so horrendous that it's hard to say anything coherent... I ought to say something, though, so I'll…
