Hilarious Rounders Parody

Paul Phillips posted this parody of Rounders on his blog (not written by him) that, like the Aristocrats joke, you need a little knowledge to really get how funny it is. You need to have seen the movie Rounders and you need to understand how to play pot limit Omaha rather than the more popular Hold em. And you need to understand that Omaha is more popular in Europe, while Hold em is more popular in America. But if you understand those things as reference points, you're going to laugh your posterior off. Do not drink anything while reading this or you'll put your keyboard at risk. If you've not seen the movie or not played Omaha, I'm afraid the joke is likely to be completely lost on you. But trust me, this is freaking brilliant. The text is continued on the other side of this break...

I've been having an amusing exchange with John Lofton, the theocrat who owns The American View. You'll recall that he left a comment at Positive Liberty with his phone number and asked me to call him. I politely said no, but that he is welcome to leave a comment objecting to anything I've said that…
This is completely unrelated to anything. But, why is the Texas hold'em version of poker the one that is currently so popular? I don't gamble. Don't have any emotional need to, and know far too much mathematics to even contemplate it. Only temptation I've ever had to do so was in considering…
