Olbermann on O'Reilly and Ratings

This is a hilarious clip of Keith Olbermann hammering Bill O'Reilly on his ever lowering ratings. I love Olbermann.

Is the subject of an article in Slate. Count me squarely in Olbermann's corner on this one. There are few people on the planet I find as loathsome and ridiculous as Bill O'Reilly and I love watching Olbermann consistently taunt him into making an even bigger ass of himself. I think the Slate…
I have a bit of a love-hate thing going for Keith Olbermann of MSNBC news. On the one hand, when he takes down Bill O'Reilly for defaming U.S. troops or Sarah Palin for anti-science idiocy, I have to admit, he's effective and sometimes even amusing. However, like some others, I often find him…
Back in October, Jamie McCarthy and I castigated Bill O'Reilly for implying that at Malmedy in December 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge U.S. Airborne troops had massacred Nazis soldiers who had surrendered when in fact the Malmedy massacre was perpetrated by SS troops to whom U.S. soldiers had…
I just saw a few minutes of Fox's Bill O'Reilly being interviewed by Matt Lauer on The Today Show regarding President Bush's surprise visit to Baghdad along with other issues of the Iraq war. Undoubtedly, there will be some folks who will parse and critique every word that Matt and Bill uttered,…

yeah, he's good. I liked him as a local LA sports guy years ago; glad he's succeeding in the Big Time.

I too love Olberman and can't stand how BOR progandaizes over the airwaves, but Olberman continues to mislead his viewers on ratings as well. If one just listened to Olberman, you'd think BOR was sinking fast, when in fact BOR still has 2.8 times more viewers than Olberman does in the 25 - 54 yr. category and BOR has 25% more total viewers than CNN, MSNBC, HLN, and CNBC COMBINED. While Fox is seeing its viewership degrade somewhat, its far from a sinking ship, a ship I'd gladly like to see sink. Here is the report: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/original/feb06vs05.pdf

Its also heartening to see my favorite political news analyst, Chris Matthews, significantly grow his viewer base over the past year. Truth may win out yet.

I don't get MSNBC, so this is the first time I've ever heard of Olbermann, but based solely on that 1 min 49 sec clip I would gladly have his babies if such a thing were possible. Get crackin', Science.
