STACLU Montana Falls for a Prank

It seems that DaveScot isn't the only one credulous enough to fall for the "ACLU stops soldiers from praying" hoax. The STACLU Montana chapter did too. Skepticism: the gift that keeps on giving.

Okay, this is absolutely hilarious. Over at Dembski's Home for Wayward Sycophants, DaveScot has fallen for one of the dumbest and most obvious email scams to come from outside Nigeria (with Dembski himself cheering "Right on!" in response to it). It's one of those idiotic "pass this on" emails…
You've gotta hand it to DaveScot - when he goes down, he does so while ducking directly into the punch. Here's his absolutely perfect reply to everyone who pointed out that he fell for a scam. I could not have written it to make him look more ridiculous if I'd done so myself. You could not have…
Charles Haynes of the First Amendment Center, one of the most moderate and objective church/state scholars in the country, has an excellent essay about religion in public schools and where the line is drawn between personal religious expression, which is constitutionally protected, and government…
Berkley, Michigan, that is, the city trying to decide what to do with its nativity scene that I mentioned the other day. Jay at STACLU quotes the TMLC's press release, which offers to defend the city for free in case the ACLU files suit. Hey, that sounds kind of familiar. They did the same thing in…

STACLU has chapters? I thought it was just a dozen or so bloggers sitting in their basements and complaining a lot. Too bad nobody's done any actual stopping. The one time they actually tried to do something (intervening in a lawsuit), they totally embarrassed themselves.

is this the link?

Being from Montana myself I can attest to the fact that this state seems has the same attraction to Crazy prople (Freeman, Montana Militia, Unabomber) that moths has to light.

Judging from this quote from her site,
"I have said many times - there are two forces that guide the universe. GOOD or EVIL. There are different levels of both forces. If you don't agree with this, don't bother reading the rest of this opinion...

Logic dictates and it is widely accepted, that -

God is GOOD.
Satan is EVIL.

So, if one doesn't believe in God, that person must be some level of Evil. Not politically correct to say but none the less true."

My guess would be this is someone lacking of ratonial thought.

Sorry, here's the link. It's the exact same hoax that DaveTard fell for and then refused to retract even after being shown that it was a hoax.

This is would be funny, if it weren't so stupid! I think someone should warn them NOT to reply to the impassioned plea for help from that nice young man in Africa. They obviously can not figure it out for themselves.

Too many places to hide out here.

That said, the vast majority of us are quite sane. That doesn't seem to include the proprietor or STACLU-MT, though.
