This is in part a follow-up on the Bomb Swarm in Princeton, Minnesota, which is starting to look more and more like what I said it was. A homecoming prank.
If we want people to become more rational, particularly about fear, we need to change what we're telling them.

Princeton, Minnesota, about five miles north of Zimmerman and thirty or so miles north of me, is the site of a rather odd event. Three "suspicious packages" were found around town, one by the post office, one at the high school, and one at the public utilities building.
The preceding comments about my alumni oganization were brought on by a bunch of factors-- the arrival of a Maryland alumni publication this week, the update-your-information questionnaire from the Society of Alumni, a visiting speaker last week who was two years behind me at Williams.
Big game tonight with #21 Cal coming to town for Homecoming to take on the #4 Sun Devils. With #5 Oregon defeating USC 24-17, tonight’s game will be huge for the Pac10 and the BCS standings.
