It's science time!

I forgot to mention yesterday (although I did on Twitter) that I'm currently in Denver, where I will be attending the 100th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), as I do almost every year at this time. I hope to see, as Isis would put it, some hot, hot science over the next three and a half days. In between sessions, I'll be putting the finishing touches on my Challenge Grant, seeing old friends, and possibly even blogging. The frequency depends upon (1) how many old friends I see and (2) how good or crappy the wifi is at the Colorado Convention Center.

In the meantime, although the last time I tried this it was a complete flop (PZ, I'm not, apparently), if anyone's interested in a meetup between now and my last night in Denver (Tuesday), drop me an e-mail.

I would meet you were I on the right continent.

I don't think Denver is on the Tube.

Denver, Monday Night, Beer, Downtown?

What part of town are you staying in? I got Evolutionary Medicine and the bad parts of Osteopathy on my mind.

And beer.

Good luck on the grant.

Hey...I'm in and I am one of Harry's Profs. Let me know. Beer is always good

I'm downtown at the Colorado Convention Center right now, and staying at a nearby hotel. If my mentor from the 1990s isn't available (he's going home tomorrow; so it's tonight or never), I'll be free.

Where's a good place for beer?

Chip and I are game if you are. Wynkoop Brewery is a good one, 1634 18th street. You take the train to union station and walk from there. Email me with some notice and some other SBM people may join.

We will be down there around 7:30 to eat and drink. If ya can make it great if not we will still be eating and drinking and talking about you
