Tangled Bank problems?

Ummm, anyone know anything about this week's host for the Tangled Bank? It's supposed to be at http://metaanalyses.blogspot.com/, but that site immediately bumps me into a redirect to something else.

I also haven't heard back from the host—if anyone knows him (or if you are him), drop me a line and let me know what's up. If there's a problem, I'll recruit someone to fill in the gap on short notice.

I've pivoted immediately from attending NECSS and participating in a panel on the infiltration of quackery into academia to heading down to Washington, DC for the AACR meeting. Then, after a packed day of meetings yesterday followed by spending yesterday evening with a friend whom I haven't seen…
Yes, I know that skepticism and Christmas don't exactly mix. After all, most people, even highly skeptical and unreligious ones, tend to enjoy at least a few, if not many, of the myths that accompany the season, myths such as Santa Claus. But we won't let that stop us from having a bit of skeptical…
I thought I was being a nice guy by not blocking John Kwok the moment he tried to friend me on Facebook. But that was a mistake. At first, there was only the occasional strange note from him via Facebook "email." But then, several hours ago, the dam broke and the Kwok just poured in. The…

Blogspot has been having pretty screwy problems all day long. Probably something related to that.

Looks like a domain or DNS hijacking.

Blogspot announced they would be down for maintenance from 2pm PDST.

So now they're back.

In the source code for the blog I can see that someone edited the template to add a function "ygorvuvgko" that is forwarding to that search site, but it is doing it in a sneaky way - by using ASCII character code numbers (60!115!99!114!105!112!116!62!.... etc.) that translate into the command.

So either this site was hijacked or the blogger has sold his soul to a search site :-). I'll send a report in to Blogger but I suspect you'll need an alterna-host for Tangled Bank.

Noticed that too... If you can't fill the gap in between, I wouldn't mind doing an extra long one next time (it's my turn November 8th), so basically taking links from four weeks instead of two.
