I'm on another podcast

D.J. Grothe and I tussled again in this week's Point of Inquiry podcast, in a continuation of last week's episode.

More like this

Last week I did an interview with D.J. Grothe of the Point of Inquiry podcast about the new book and other issues. It just went online, and you can listen here. This is a great podcast that all defenders of science and reason should be subscribing to, so if you don't already, now's your…
The studios of Point of Inquiry For those in the DC area, Wednesday evening I will be speaking at the one year anniversary of the Center for Inquiry's Public Policy office [Details Below]. Also making remarks will be DJ Grothe, host of the popular Point of Inquiry podcast series. Recently…
This post is a followup on Podcasts good and bad, to which some of you responded with excellent suggestions for podcasts. I want to say that the criticisms I leveled in the previous post apply mainly to video podcasts in technolology that I've seen via the Roku on TWiT TV and other places, and…
The Point of Inquiry podcast is produced by the Center for Inquiry-Transnational and averages 60,000 listeners a week. In this week's show, host DJ Grothe and I engage in a lively forty-five minute discussion. You can listen here. I offer more details on: --> the nature of framing and media…

How far will this italic contagion spread?

Separated at birth: A B.

Sorry, couldn't help it.

John Emerson,

Pardon my iggerance, but who is "B"?

Grover Norquist.

I just did a terrible thing.

That was good. I have a message for Mr. Grothe: Matt Nisbet is not the voice of the social sciences.

I look forward to listening to the Austin Dacey one from 5-9 (linked to on the right). Sounds rather Kropotkinesque :).

Cephalopodcast!

Dear PZ, I listened to you and your point about the focus group method results in bland fare (takes away the flavor) I so agree. I think centrist politics does the same thing. We need to have some clear thought and opinions and go for it, even if they offend some.

Admit it PZ,
D.J Grothe recorded the whole interview at once and just chopped it into two.

>:D

For anyone who hasn't listened to the Point of Inquiry podcast before - why haven't you?! No, that's not what I wanted to say. I wanted to say that on POI, DJ Grothe always asks the "devil's advocate" questions, so much so that sometimes it's hard to tell when he has a legitimate beef with the person he is interviewing. I actually like this approach, as it removes the personality of the interviewer from the equation.
