You people are obsessed

Another blog entry tops the 1K mark: I'm closing the God, abortionist thread and opening this one up for any spillover. Clearly, we need faster, more powerful servers to keep up with the chatter going on here.

Again, I've lost track of whatever the subject was, so I guess you can talk about anything.

More like this

That's it! I'm never reading another imaging paper again, ever. OK, I might read one or two, and I might even post about them, but for now I'm telling myself, for my own sanity, that I'm never, ever, under any circumstances, going to read another imaging study. If you read my last post, or have…
Mark Mathis does not come off as a nice man in interviews. You may have listened to the SciAm interview, a truly painful experience in which he made claims about evolution and then backtracked when confronted with his mistakes…and admitted that he knew nothing about the subject. He's done it again…
I'm speaking from experience, people, having had most of these lobbed at me one time or another. Please feel free to add to the list in the comments section. 1. "When is the baby due?" I'm not pregnant, you douchebag. I'm fat. If I were pregnant, I'd probably be prancing around telling…
I've been sent Yet Another Proof of God. This one goes to rather a lot of trouble to appear to be mathematical. I thought that it would be fun to rip it apart. For a change, this one is from an Islamic moron, rather than the usual Christian moron. Alas, it's pretty much as stupid and shallowly…

So it would appear.

Break out the fermented unicorn blood and pickled-baby canapés!

Ah.
Thanks, SC; I really enjoyed that.

You're welcome!

When I was a kid I had a Moody Blues record that I used to play while staring at a candle flame in my room...hoo.

I would play that song and just dance around wildly. And that was before, well, anything artificial...

[I'm gonna listen to it again...maybe dance around wildly...]

What a coincidence. I actually listened to an entire Moody Blues CD on headphones at work today. It was really rather nice. ("To Our Children's Children's Children".)

No candles or "artificials", though. Just a bottle of lime seltzer. It was trippy anyway. "Burns slowly, the candle of life...". Oooh.

I know that Timothy Leary song, too. My folks used to play that stuff when I was a kid. "The Story In Your Eyes" is good too.

Are we partying yet? It's past midnight here. Where are Ichthyic and MAJeff?
