tags: Australia, blog carnivals The 12 September issue of the Carnival of Australia is now available. This carnival focuses on stories about Australia, most of which are written by Australians. I am pleased to say that they included a story that I wrote, even though I am not Australian.
Now the godless Australians are getting into the atheist bus sign business, and I must say, this is my favorite ad of the bunch so far, since it's got the nice sciencey touches to it. And it's a fine bunch of happy atheists promoting it, too.
I gave my talk today on tree thinking at the local science museum for kids and the general public, which is amazingly popular. The Portuguese seem to hold science and knowledge in high esteem. Which is great. The Ciências Viva helped pay for my ticket, so I hope they liked my presentation. It will…
