Pat Robertson predicts mass killing

Pat Robertson is up to his old fun:

In what has become an annual tradition of prognostications, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson said Tuesday God has told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would result in "mass killing" late in 2007.

"I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said during his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network. "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."

Robertson said God told him during a recent prayer retreat that major cities and possibly millions of people will be affected by the attack, which should take place sometime after September.

Well, at least God bestowed this information on someone we are all likely to listen to.

"You also must rely on Science." Well, OK, he didn't actually SAY that, but he did DO that...
Among the people unimpressed with Ken Ham's performance yesterday is televangelist, and former Republican Presidential candidate, Pat Robertson:
Pat Robertson's remarks about Sharon—once again blaming human suffering on divine retribution—have put a crimp in his pocketbook.
On ABC's This Week on Sunday, Pat Robertson put on a virtuoso display of irrational claims, hypocritical flip flops and demagoguery worthy of his exalted position as one of the world's foremost leaders of the credulous and stupid.

I think somebody needs to call Homeland security ASAP and tell them Pat Robertson is making threats against the USA...

Some "alone" time in Gitmo might do a dufus like Pat a whole lot of good. Or, maybe he could spend a little "Haggard Time" with fellow scumbag Kent Hovind in a FL cell?

Like most prohpecies, he's covered his bases - if it does happen, he can say he was right. If he doesn't, he can say people prayed hard enough. It sounds like pure publicity - AND he can blame it on the Democrats if he wants!

You know, I can believe there may be strange powers of the mind. This however is just a strange mind.
