We are at 61 degrees F (16C) here in Newport Oregon. Its sunny and no breeze. Almost a spring day. I hope you get to make a snowman.

Nice photos.

This evening in Calgary it's -1 at present, however that is not cold for this time of year. This winter has been mostly warmer than usual, with highs above 0 much of the time. It's also so dry there was a grass fire today in an open area.

3.2.2012 -24C, now -12C, at this rate spring starts in 5 days ;-)

Not that warm up north of you in Portland (11C) but it's sunny with one of our notorious east winds through the Columbia Gorge making us colder than the coast.

What on is going on with those two at the front? Secret mutual fumblings or Mr Uncertain-of-his-sexuality has a panic attack when knees collide?

Ducks in this Cambridge seem puzzled the Charles river has yet to freeze for the first time in decades.

Russell, the Charles did freeze (at least down near MIT) for 1-2 days in January.

-2C? A new Ice age is upon us!!!!!!!

No, wait, here in central Scotland it is above freezing and rather dull. No snow except on high ground. Give us our weather back you thieving southerners.

[Oh dear. Our rowing club Men's Captain has headed North in search of Ice Climbing -W]

Nice looking ducks but I notice they are not in the water.

"Ducks don't care. I've never known what this means."

Ducks average very low on measures of socialization or empathy. A vast majority of ducks are narcissistic sociopaths. (c.f. Duckman, Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, etc.)
