UPDATE: There still seem to be some comment problems. Two entries, at least, are missing most of their comments and when I tried to test comment on one of them, the comment landed on another entry. Trying to get it fixed... (10:20 pm Fri. evening)
UPDATE: Hopefully the borked comments problem is fixed now. Some problems with the MT software, some settings were messed up...think I've got it straightened out now. If you are seeing problems anywhere on my site, please email me at

Dear Readers, from where I sit, it seems to me that on each entry on my blog, only the first three comments are showing right now. I am seeing new comments come in; they are not showing up on the blog. Old entries with long comment strings show only three comments. Clearly I am experiencing technical difficulties. Will try to get them fixed ASAP. Just wanted to let you know that your comments are reaching me, even if they are not showing up on site.
If this is just me, and you all are seeing the comments fine, could someone let me know? I doubt that it is just me but one never knows.

I can see more than three comments for your last 2 posts, so unless it was fixed in the last 30 min, it is just you.
I seems fixed now. But when I made the last post to this post "Comment Problems?" the comment ended up in "On Being A Patient". Weird. Other then that I can see all comments now.
the comments for the "shush! this is an examining room" only go to 3.

I think comments are working again -- I just left one on the "shush" thread.
There is something funky going on at SB though, some script or other that keeps running on the individual post pages. There's nearly always something like that these days, which is why I try never to load SB in my browser if I can avoid it.
