Live from Seattle: Society embraces AngryToxicologist!

There is a animal testing karmic pass up in the exhibition hall! I'll post again when I return from my ego trip.

PS Since it's tangentally related, I'm going to use the opportunity to express some outrage at what the Chinese are saying about the Dalai Lama and doing to Tibetans. @#$@% $#%&^# $%#!

More like this

After the dust up last week about violent anti-animal testing groups (coast down through the comments on the linked Denialism post to get the short version of my take), two things stuck in my head. One, the Dalai Lama says my karma's okay as long as I'm following what looks like a version of the…
There is trouble in Tibet. And some reports indicate that things are only going to get worse in the near future. Protests over Chinese Rule, controlled by both police and Chinese military, have spread beyond Lhasa, according to recent reports, and the Dalai Lama has called for an international…
Not an exhaustive list, but since I'm noodling around with my calendar, I might as well note some of the stuff I'll be doing this year: I'll be on a panel about international science testing at the AAAS Annual Meeting in February. This will be a different experience-- not only have I never been to…
One of my many distractions lately is travel planning. After spending several months living in the wilds of Lower Alabama, I'm getting to take a bit of a vacation. Right now, face a 60-minute round-trip commute to get to the nearest bookstore (a marginally acceptable Barnes and Noble). If I'm…

Awesome! What a kick! I have just printed out the one you posted previously for my door.

If you go back to to the Exhibition Hall, be sure to visit Booth 530 - Americans for Medical Progress. We are handing out our Speaking of Research DVD, which Dr. Freeride/ Adventures in Ethics and Science reviewed last year (http://scienceblogs.com/mt/pings/48914)

...And let me add a further ^%(*^^##$@(&)^**Q#@#% to your outrage against what the Chinese are saying about the Dalai Lama and doing to Tibetans.

Hey thanks for the great blog, love this stuff. I dont usually do much for Earth Day but with everyone going green these days I thought I try to do my part.

I am trying to find easy, simple things I can do to help stop global warming (I stress easy, I dont plan on going out and buying a hybrid). I took the Earth Day Challenge that EarthLab.com is promoting ( http://www.earthlab.com/ ) and I am planning on lowering my score. They have some pretty good tips (they call them pledges).

I am looking for more easy fun stuff to do. If you know of any other sites worth my time let me know.
