Onlookers filed past the Newseum on Pennsylvania Avenue Wednesday night, viewing approximately 80 front pages from U.S. and world newspapers - all of which paid tribute to President-elect Barack Obama.

I am disappointed to see my country's broadsheet papers on there featuring the Melbourne Cup race more prominently than this (while the freebie paper MX has him on the front since they print late in the day). pfft Silly buggers! Though I'm sure he was all over front page the next day.

I was at work heading back into my shop when I passed a big screen TV and a group of people about 20 or so, standing around listening to Obama. It must have been his acceptance speech.
