Jesus on a Pizza It Ain't

Humans have an ability to recognize patterns, even if they're not really there, like the face of Jesus in a pizza or Elvis on the side of a Holstein. Apparently, a local lumberjack recognized something in a certain tree trunk and decided to flip it upside down and paint it blue in order to help passersby see the illusion. This little bit of "found art" is located less than two miles from my house and I had a good laugh when I first saw it:

Jesus on a pizza it ain't, but it sure is entertaining nonetheless.

It's all in the jeans.. I mean genes...

Many years ago a friend of mine was in the habit of drawing a certain little cartoon character that he had come up with. He drew them for me a few times, they were way cool and he wove a neat story around them. It is the kind of a memory that has a cocklebur shell. I've never been able to shake it.

Many years later, I am exploring the banks of a creek in Wyoming, and pretending to fish, when I come upon a piece of driftwood that is preCISEly like my friends cartoon. It is a very big deal, to me, but it is not to the population of the planet minus one or two.

I am perfectly content and feel quite fully informed by taking the view that such a piece of wood would exist had I never met my friend.

I just have one question about the picture of the . . . err . . . crotch. Am I looking at the actual jeans of Jesus, or are the genes of Jesus in these pants?

and I get away with wood would. bonus.
