Wishing you a thoughtful Memorial Day

Here in the United States, it's Memorial Day. This is a day set aside to remember and be thankful for the sacrifices of the men and women who gave their lives for our country and way of life.

So, thank you! And thank you to all of the wounded veterans for your sacrifice. And thank you to all of the service men and women and veterans who pledged to give your life in our country's defense.

Except their not giving their life for freedom or defending their country. Their giving it to invade another

You should be praising those that had the courage to say no and leave the military instead.

I'm of course excluding WW2 veterans, every other war after this has been an offensive. At least, I'm not aware of any defensive ones
