Gearing up for scio10: Online Reference Managers

We're just about set for a fabulous session on citation/bibliographic/reference managers at the upcoming Science Online conference. The session wiki page is here, so you can hop over there an add questions or suggestions if you'd like.

John Dupuis and I are moderating and we'll have the following folks there talk about some of the most popular options:

John has a lot of experience with EndNote and we both have a lot of experience with RefWorks.

The main point, though, is to have a great conversation with all of the attendees participating. I'm hoping we'll have a mix of folks with a lot of experience either with one tool or a little experience with a bunch of tools and some who haven't really used any of these.

What would be super cool is if we can come up with new ways of using these tools to better share information and maybe come up with some features that are needed.

Update: (I've been monkeying with the links)

Following along in the tradition of Bora's introductions of the various attendees for the upcoming Science Online 2010 conference, I thought I'd list all the library people that are attended. I'm not going to try and introduce each of the library people, I'll leave that to Bora, but I thought it…
Continuing with the introductions to the sessions on the Program, here is what will happen on Saturday, January 16th at 4:30 - 5:35pm: A. Online Reference Managers - John Dupuis and Christina Pikas moderating, with Kevin Emamy, Jason Hoyt, Trevor Owens and Michael Habib (Scopus) in the 'hot seats…
Of course, this conference would not be itself if it was not full of Open Access evangelists and a lot of sessions about the world of publishing, the data, repositories, building a semantic web, networking and other things that scientists can now do in the age of WWW. This year, apart from…
The series of interviews with some of the participants of the 2008 Science Blogging Conference was quite popular, so I decided to do the same thing again this year, posting interviews with some of the people who attended ScienceOnline'09 back in January. Today, I asked Victor Henning from Mendeley…

I wish I could be there, Christina, but I know John, Jason et al. will do a great job.

I notice Citeulike and Mendeley aren't linked above. Could you fix, at least for Mendeley, pretty please?

Greg - Glad to hear it!

I added the links. I wish you could come, too! A friendfeed reunion :)
