Gender genie on Mary Rosh

Seems like everybody is trying out the Gender Genie, which analyses a piece of text and guesses the gender of the writer.

So I gave it Mary Rosh's writings to analyse. The verdict? Male. Well done, Gender Genie!

The Washington Post has a story about Mary Rosh. Lott now claims that this review of More Guns, Less Crime was written by his 13 year-old son with some help from his wife. "They told me they had done it. They showed it to me. I wasn't going to tell them not to do it. Should I have?" One of Mary…
Lott's wife has posted (I have confirmed via email that it was really her) to the comment section of this Electrolite post: When the screen name is used, it always, automatically registers as MaRyRoSh, NOT as MaryRosh or Mary_Rosh, which I am sure must have suggested to some that…
After finding some clues on Amazon's Canadian site that revealed three more of Lott's reviews, I decided to check their other sites. On their German site I found the review below. This review seems to have also been deleted when the Mary Rosh review was deleted. I think that was…
Lott's wife, Gertrud Fremling, has responded to a question I put to her about the similarity between Rosh's Amazon review and Lott's writings. Obviously " ...this is the review:" is a false statement by you. You should have said that "... this is part of the review:" Am I supposed to…

Wow, that Gender Genie is pretty interesting. It thinks the Introduction to my latest manuscript is written by a woman, while the Methods were written by a man. Hmmmm...

I'm a male, and my sister is female, so fara so good. But, my boss, Kristi, apparently is a man. How about that, I'll have to tell her/him.

Wow John Lott's findings were baseless huh? How about this; guy walks into the local quick mart (a local gas station) and robs it, steps out the door and is shot down by an old woman with a .44 magnum... You know what happened to crime rates in my neighborhood? They plummetted! What John Lott claims is true; if someone is going to commit a violent crime they are not worried about the police, they are worried about their victims defending themselves. People who commit violent crimes do not plan on being caught, but if they have to worry about their victim shooting them, they will think twice. I am not a gun fanatic, I actually think that pistols and assult rifles aren't needed as they are specifically designed to kill people... But this has changed my view on pistols.
