the most curious thing about this for me is that microsoft have been building computer labs at schools here in Australia but are obviously not doing it in their home country ????

I have yet to see a computer lab in an Australian school with computers greater than about 8-10 years old. Most of them are <5 years.

Don't the tech companies over there run some sort of program to upgrade the tech in schools?
