I listened to most of first and some of the second, and while I've never been exposed to Bangla music before, thought they were nonetheless interesting.

They remind me somewhat of Vietnamese music, which tend to be a hybrid of high-pitch traditional ballad style + French chanteuse style + hyper sentimentality.

While the Bangla was'nt overly sentimental, it had a similar overall texture!
