It seems that others have a compulsion to control the means of my opinion production. 5 questions from Hsien Hsien Lei aimed at me. Lei runs a great weblog, Genetics and Health.

In this edition, genetics gets personal. The recent publication of Craig Venter's genome (and, before that, James Watson's) was big news. It ushered in the…

I haven't done this in a while:

Hsien Hsien Lei of Genetics and Health…
I was interviewed by Hsien Hsien Lei, and the complete transcript is available at her fantastic blog, Genetics & Health.
(Hope my answers weren't to long winded ...)
Great interview. My blogging output was low yesterday because I was writing epic answers to my own 5 questions - to be released in about two months.
What are you talking about? You're going to make it seem like I did something to your answers. For the record, all of Razib's crazy rantings were his own. :D
Epic indeed, coturnix. But that's what makes you guys great. :)
hey lei, wutz up with guy's weird picture? he looks he was mugged at an amway convention or something.
Shut up. You're such a pain. LOL You're going to get me in trouble! I must not slam on people who have nothing to do with me anymore. :D
You are already in trouble.
First claim to "have closed the matter". Then talk **it behind my back and rumor-monger. Some high ground you have. Shame on you, Hsien.
What is that she said, razib? That I am a devil with horns?
man, i'm sorry i brought it up :) lei didn't say anthing to me. i just think your picture is kind of weird. itz so small, and you look like a 15 year old in a suit. i call it like i see it :)
Hey, why did my name surface in this discussion at all?
Yeah, I have been told I look like a 15 year old. Guess I am one of those guys who stay baby-faced as grown adults :)
Take care
Hey, why did my name surface in this discussion at all?
just browsing lei's blog. your name came up and i googled it (wuz curious about your last name). and yeah, i kind of look like a baby too. check out my picture.
That's it. I'm deleting your interview, Razib!! :P
I didn't talk shit behind your back, DK. Razib is being his usual self. Just blow it off. That's what I do with what he says all the time. ;)
Peace, DK.
Peace it is. The things we say online sometimes come back in very unexpected ways. LOL.
I heard a wa-a-ay worse story at BloggerCon last week.
Peace it is.
see, i bring people together....
This is what I was referring to when I said "at least you're not a hellraiser" in the thread on selective abortion of bookworms. I meant only in the physical fight-prone sense. To be a good scientist or artist, one has to have a rebellious or iconoclastic streak, for sure. Once I figure out how to post polls, I'll make one for "Who among you has ever had weird hair?"

I meant only in the physical fight-prone sense
well, my adolescence was in the intermontane west. i didn't start fights often, but i made sure to finish them :)
Agnostic, I cannot believe you're encouraging Razib. ;) Not as if he needed any encouragement anyway. hehe
As for weird hair, what's the def. of weird? Maybe the normal is the weird and vice versa! You see how we scientists are....
