The Elf pointed me to Typealyzer where it supposedly analyzes the personality of the weblog. Well, this blog is....
...INTJ - The Scientists:
The long-range thinking and individualistic type. They are especially good at looking at almost anything and figuring out a way of improving it - often with a highly creative and imaginative touch. They are intellectually curious and daring, but might be pshysically hesitant to try new things.
The Scientists enjoy theoretical work that allows them to use their strong minds and bold creativity. Since they tend to be so abstract and theoretical in their communication they often have a problem communcating their visions to other people and need to learn patience and use conrete examples. Since they are extremly good at concentrating they often have no trouble working alone.
But what about me? From what I recall I'm an ENTJ or P. I took a Myers-Briggs, and it said I'm an ENTJ, with the following breakdowns:
Extraverted - 33%
Intuitive - 50%
Thinking - 88%
Judging- 56%
If you read this weblog, you know I have a strong streak of misanthropy. But, I'm actually a relatively extroverted person in real life. Contrary to the stereotype of the weirdo in the basement, I think most bloggers are relatively more social and open to interpersonal interactions than most people. After all, blogging is "putting yourself out there."

It gave my blog an INTP, though I myself test as an ISTJ; I wonder what criteria it uses.
You might be interested by the work of Felder at NCSU in Raleigh, NC on using the Myers-Briggs to study student performance in engineering. See here: http://www4.ncsu.edu/unity/lockers/users/f/felder/public/Learning_Style…
I believe it's math.random
I'm an introvert in meatspace. I don't want to chit-chat about bullshit because I happen to live near someone that knows so-and-so. I go online so I can just discuss topics I find interesting.
I think that the drift of the above comment was the the Myers-Briggs is useless. Take a look at some of the research by Felder and Johns Hopkins - CTY to the contrary.
I went to high school with a fair number of Americans of Indian descent and they generally seemed to tip extraverted to me. My stereotype of the day :-)
On your blog you seem too mellow to be an ENTJ. I would have guessed ENTP.
I'm an introvert in meatspace.
that's why you're in the v-club!
Ok, time for the obligatory "Look at Mine!!"
Introverted 78
Intuitive 38
Thinking 100
Judging 44
I don't think I've changed much. Though maybe more thinking and less Intuitive now, I blame endless science and math classes for that phenomenon.
Hi there! I came across this post through my Google Alerts for the word "MBTI." This may or may not be of interest to you, but I write a blog about the MBTI and wrote a post about how Typealyzer is basically junk. I know lots of people are checking it out for entertainment sake- and that's totally cool...but I hope you don't confuse those "blog type" results for your own personality type. Anyway, I won't go into why the site is junk here, I just wanted to let you know if you wanted to learn more, here's the original post: http://www.thembtiblog.com/2008/11/websites-that-ruin-my-day.html.
I also have a discussion in the comments section with the creator of the Typealyzer site.
