Reading about Super-Wolves and other uber carnivores, like the Giant Short-Faced Bear - up to 6' tall at the shoulder - who all seemed to have lived in North America - makes me wonder if that's what delayed human habitation of that continent for so long, and why South America seems to have been populated first?
